Amy Standish

Amy became Assistant Deputy Minister of Policy and Programs at the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture in February 2024. Amy first joined the ministry in 2019 as Director of Strategic Policy, before serving as the Executive Director of Policy Branch. Prior to joining the ministry, Amy held various positions within the Government of Saskatchewan starting in 2012, spending time with the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, Ministry of Finance and the former Ministry of Central Services.
Amy has a Master of Public Administration from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geography from the University of Regina.
Amy lives outside of Regina with her husband and three children. She grew up close to her family farm and orchard, nearby Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan.
