Christine Virostek

Christine is a Certified Professional Accountant and holds a Business Management degree with a major in Accounting from the University of Lethbridge. She also holds certificates in Professional Leadership and Public Sector Board Governance.

Prior to joining SCIC in February of 2019, Christine was employed with Parkland College. She held a number of positions including Accounting Technician, Controller and the Director of Finance, where she led the Finance, International and Registration departments for the College.

Christine grew up on an acreage near Lethbridge, Alberta. She moved to Saskatchewan in 2008 with her husband, Colby, to support him in his life-long dream of ranching. Christine and Colby along with their son, Jex, currently live near Lestock where they run approximately 500 head of commercial cattle.

Christine is active in her community and currently sits on the Country Munchkins Daycare Board in Kelliher where her son attends daycare. Christine enjoys camping and traveling to Alberta to visit her family.
