SCIC insures crop varieties suitable for local growing conditions throughout the province. Insurance may be denied if you grow an inappropriate variety for your area.
Sunflowers
Coverage available at 50, 60, and 70%. Production Guarantee determined by individual coverage. Insurance is available for oilseed full season and oilseed early maturing sunflowers.
Insurable Area
Triticale
Coverage available at 50, 60, 70 and 80%. Production Guarantee determined by individual coverage.
Wheat (Canada Prairie, Extra Strong, Hard Red, Hard White)
Coverage available at 50, 60, 70 and 80%. Production Guarantee determined by individual coverage. Soft White spring wheat will be insured as Canada Prairie spring wheat.
Winter Wheat
Coverage available at 50, 60, 70 and 80%. Production Guarantee determined by individual coverage.
